Astaxanthin is a unique Cellular Antioxidant that Targets and Protects “Highly-Metabolic” tissues and organs. Astaxanthin targets the most metabolically active tissues in the human body because it works to protect the cell’s mitochondria (the cell’s powerhouse and source of energy production).
