Study #1

Researchers took elderly subjects with age-related cognitive decline and administered Astaxanthin each day for 12 weeks. They found they were able to slow down age-related decline in cognitive and psychomotor function in these elderly subjects. (Satoh, 2009).

Study #2

Another study in elderly subjects with biomarkers of cognitive decline, which accumulate in dementia sufferers were significantly reduced and subjects also had improved antioxidant status.

Study #3
